This morning started out at a chilly 40 degrees. Bundled up with 3 layers, I got an early start at 7:30am. Traffic on Loop 410 was insane, but once I got out of San Antonio, onto I-35 it was smooth sailing to New Braunfels.Met up with 10 other members of the Comal River Riders Club. Shed one layer, then Kickstands Up(KSU for those non-bikers) at 9am and we headed west on FM 306.
Got stuck in a construction zone just west of New Braunfels, sat at a dead stop for probably 20 minutes or more. After that it was a beautiful ride to our first stop in Spring Branch. Plenty of wildlife and scenery including deer, buffalo, vultures and even a brave squirrel crossing the path of 11 motorcyles. One more stop in CenterPoint and then on to The Camp Verde General Store & Restaurant.
Great Food, Great company... overall.. another Great day!
Total miles for the day: 168
