Today I led a group of 11 other bikes to Texas Pride BBQ in Adkins, TX. Texas Pride has been featured on the Food Network show "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives".
Our route included some great view of the South Texas country, which included the normal sightings of roadkill and even a live turtle crossing the road, yes, a live turtle. It was already about 3/4 of the way across when we approached but it was still a cool sight to see. This was the 5th stop in this quest and based on the initial feedback, it seemed to be a hit. There will still be some stiff competition with other spots, but Texas Pride will still be one of my favorites no matter what.
